David Taylor is the former owner of Pooginook Merino stud at Jerilderie Southern NSW. The Taylors operated the Pooginook business for three generations from 1912 to 2007. The stud and property were sold in August 2007 to Macquarie Pastoral Company. David is an independent director of two on the Macquarie Pastoral boards. During David’s time at Pooginook he was well known for his practical land management and stockmanship. In 1995 David and his wife Gillian adopted the business m anagment practices of Holistic management.
While visiting Pooginook stud clients the Taylors gained a wide appreciation of different management and environmental conditions through out Austraqlia. Armed with a lifetime of experience in stock breeding and land management David is establishing a consulting business focusing on natural land management and practical breeding advice for sheep and cattle.
David owns and operates a Cessna 210 and is instrument rated. Based in Albury in Southern NSW the aeroplane enables him to be witin easy reach of clients through out Australia.

Gillian Taylor - achieved a Diploma of Farm Management Glenormiston Agriculture College. She had a career as a Rural Journalist with Countryman Newspaper in WA and Western Farmer and Grazier, Freelance journalist in Australia and South Africa. Gillian pursued a marketing career in South Africa.
For the past 21 years Gillian worked with David to build up the Pooginook. In 2003 Gillian established Natural Instinct Wool Company an Australian manufacturing and marketing company that produce woolen outerwear for corporate wear. Currently Gillian manages Bibbaringa cattle property at Bowna east of Albury NSW.
